Ron Paul is the most trusted candidate in the race. In this election, trust will win the presidency. You mark my words. The speech Ron Paul made after this latest NH primary is excellent. Clear, well-defined objectives to bring American full circle, back to liberty and freedom, especially for the middle class. Not that the middle class will enjoy any “special” liberty under a President Paul, but his policies of reducing the trillion-dollar budgets for war fighting and squeezing Federal Reserve Bank, Inc. out of our pockets will free up huge amounts of productive capital for growth of middle class objectives.
As everyone knows, a strong middle class is the heartbeat of health in any nation, and America has long nurtured the strongest, largest middle class in history.
Freedom Won supports Ron Paul for president of the United States. Even though some of his ideas are, in our opinion, off the mark, we must focus first on economic and Constitutional fundamentals. If we fail to do that, then any opinions on other matters will not matter one jot or tittle. That unique focus is precisely Ron Paul’s strength.
Think about it like this: If you are personally stone cold broke and have no opportunity to work your way back to great financial health, how meaningful are other issues? If you are so broke that you cannot maintain your health or sleep in hygienic conditions, so broke that your diet consists of hamburger helper and the 1/4 cup of raw chemicals included with that, and your teeth are decaying and your lung capacity is falling and your ability to think in focused, linear paths is diminished, then exactly how important is “everything else”?
Take Iran. Ron Paul seems to have a mindset that we need to pullback from the brink of war with Iran. Maybe he is right. We at Freedom Won believe that we need to incinerate Iran’s leaders and help the Iranian people develop Iran into a great trading nation. Most of the Iranian people are brave, good people, no different from Americans in general. Yes, its true.
But the Iranian government is a thugocracy, just like Chavez in Venezuela and Putin in Russia. These are low-class, cancerous governments that govern from the barrel of a gun. They are modern Stalinists, and reflect our future if the usurper Barack Obama is re-elected. The fact that certain sectors of the American voting public will absolutely vote for Obama, is proof that we have major problems in America.
Barack Obama is only a reflection of the character and soul of a huge percent of the American public. If our character was better as individuals, we would have better leaders. Our leaders are only a reflection of our own motives. We have bad leaders because we Americans have diminished character. We cannot hate the politicians without also hating our selves. They are us, and we are them.
So we here support Ron Paul for president of the United States. He has excellent ideas regarding healing our economy and ending the perpetual war that some Americans love so much. He has unusual ideas in other areas, but I understand his motives and I also understand very clearly why he holds the positions he does on foreign policy.
He follows Ayn Rand, a deceased but brilliant philosopher who wrote, among other things, the books Atlas Shrugged and The Fountainhead. I read both of them 20 years ago, and they opened my eyes to freedom and liberty. I was in my early thirties, and thought I had a good grasp on what liberty was, and on freedom. But when I read the forward to The Fountain head, the speech Ayn Rand made to the cadets at West Point back in the early ’60′s, I wept.
Ayn Rand’s speech to West Point seemed to validate everything I believed in and thought true about myself, things which I thought put me on the outside suddenly were the things that placed me in the center of understanding just what America was, and could be again. I clearly remember sitting at my kitchen table, reading that forward and weeping softly to myself.
So, yes, I understand Ron Paul and completely trust his motives. Trust will win this election and we need people in office that are trust worthy. This election cycle, the only trustworthy candidate in the race on either “side”, is Ron Paul. If we get him, we all win. All. Even the subclass of voters who adamantly support the usurper Barack Obama will benefit from the Ron Paul presidency, because true liberty and financial security frees up a lot of opportunity for everyone.
Also, one final note and I’ll stop. I want to commend the many Democrats who voted against the NDAA 2012. Nearly all Republicans voted in favor of the bill, so clearly they are as worthless as breasts on a two x four. Republicans are… I don’t have the words. I am just sitting here shaking my head “no”, and no words come up to describe these current Republicans. I suppose even the Tea Party crowd voted for the Slave Enactment of 2012.
So you see what we are dealing with? Gibbering fools in D.C., and the usurper Obama in the White house. All of this was accurately predicted for America by Ayn Rand back in the ’50′s, and Ron Paul gets it. He understands and that is precisely why we endorse Ron Paul for President in 2012.
